The Story Ends Here

So this is the moment where we changed the point of views of every people involved in the competition. The second group was done with their dance and we are the next to perform. But before that, something had happened. There was a power interruption while the second group was performing. We were all worried because it was almost 2 hours when the power came back; the brown out was caused by a shortage in one of our transformers. But it all went fine after they had fixed it.

And now the time has come for us to perform. We entered the quadrangle in order and we arranged our props at the back then we signaled the music to play when we know that our dancers were all ready. Many people shouted for us and it was a big help for our dancers because of the thought that many had liked their performance. They finished their performance with all precision and expertise. No moves forgotten, every prop were carefully used; the smile on their faces and the feeling of satisfaction was there.

The performer right after was also a good one but their performance is not that neat as we were, because they have broken some of their props and their stunts were not properly executed. The night ended as we never expected. We all got the major awards except for best in costume. We got the best in choreography, our muse won first place and we also got the first place in street dancing and bagoong dance competition. We never expected to be the overall winner since we know that our competitions were really good when we saw them in our face off before the competition. We cannot explain what we felt that night, we haven’t slept that night, we just went on talking about it on how we won and until now whenever I think about it, I still feel proud for our team.

As promised, we will have our victory party 4 days from now and everybody will help for the preparation. We had our meeting last night about it and I was very happy for the coordination of each and every one of them. We will sure have a great party.
